Welcome to the first episode of “Beyond the Price Tag”.
When we admire a beautiful saree, a handcrafted gift, or a thoughtfully designed home décor piece, our eyes naturally notice its colours, patterns, and appearance. We may even wonder if the price is right. These are all natural questions.
But today, I invite you to pause for a moment and ask a different question.
“What story does this product carry?”
Every product has a story—one that begins long before it reaches a shop or finds a place in our homes.
Behind every creation are people who dream, design, create, and care. There are skilled hands that patiently weave, embroider, carve, stitch, print, or craft. There are suppliers who work tirelessly to bring these creations to us. And there are those of us who carefully choose what finally becomes part of our collection.
A product is never just an object. It is the result of many thoughtful decisions.
Looking Beyond What Meets the Eye
At Care N Creation, we often come across products that may look similar at first glance. In today’s digital world, a single design can appear on many online platforms and in many stores.
As customers, we naturally compare prices, colours, and photographs. There is nothing wrong with doing so—it is part of making an informed decision.
But over the years, I have learnt that photographs reveal only part of the story.
Sometimes the difference lies in the feel of the fabric. Sometimes it is in the finishing, the comfort, the consistency, or the care taken during production. Sometimes, it is simply the confidence that comes from knowing the people who have created and supplied the product with sincerity over many years.
These are qualities that cannot always be captured in a photograph or reflected in a price.
What I Have Learnt Over Years is
For more than two decades, I have had the privilege of working with trusted suppliers and talented creators. These relationships have taught me that trust is built gradually—through honesty, consistency, and mutual respect.
When I choose products for CARE n Creation, I do not ask only one question:
“Will this sell?”
Instead, I ask myself:
Would I confidently recommend this to my own family?
Would I be happy if a friend received this as a gift?
Does this product reflect the values of CARE n Creation?
Only when the answer is “Yes” does it become part of our collection.
This process may take more time, but I believe thoughtful selection is worth the effort.
The Story We Choose to Share
Every product in our collection carries a story—not just of its maker, but also of the trust, care, and thoughtful choices that brought it here.
Our role is not simply to offer products.
Our role is to curate them with responsibility.
That is the philosophy behind CARE n Creation.

Ask yourself:
“Who made this?”
“What journey did it take before reaching me?”
You may discover that the true value of a product often lies beyond what the price tag can tell us.
